WT hexagon screws according to WT standard WT-S-2017, made of plastic (refer to material properties) with metric threads up to the head.
Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws include polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% glass fiber content.
We also manufacture screws from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics, optionally in various colors upon request.
The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended.
For tightening, please use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.
